Westlink

first Rails app

Westlink was my first Rails app (Rails 2.3), written summer 2009 while I was interning at Blink Interactive it was a big experience for me, learning how databases and Rails and everything else work. The majority of my contribution was on the back end, the admin section that allows Westlink to add content and handle user interaction. We ultimately built a CMS that was customized to the data and events that are relevant to Westlink.

The front end, where all the data is displayed.

On the back end, they can add and edit events.

And filter which ones show in their index.

Organize their site layout arbitrarily deep using nested sets.
